Supply

Total supply, the block reward and the halving schedule. Live figures come from the block explorer.

Supply at block 24,097 (2026-09-23), as reported by the block explorer Snapshot
Total supply 127,033,220 VVC in existence
Block reward 50 VVC paid to the miner of each block
Halving 210,000 blocks between halvings
Block target 240 s about 6.6 M VVC a year at 50 VVC

Total supply

127,033,220 VVC at block 24,097 on 23 September 2026, according to the block explorer’s totalcoins figure. The total grows by the block reward with every new block; the explorer always has the current number.

The consensus code paid larger subsidies in the first 120 blocks (GetBlockSubsidy()), which is why the total is higher than 50 VVC multiplied by the block height.

Block reward and halving schedule

Every block pays 50 VVC to the miner who finds it, halving every 210,000 blocks. At the 240-second target that is about 6.6 million VVC a year in the first era and half that in the next.

Live figures

The block explorer shows every block, transaction and address, and a rich list. Its JSON API returns the headline numbers without a key:

https://vivuscoin.com/explorer/api/v1/getblockcount # current block height
https://vivuscoin.com/explorer/api/v1/status # height, hash, time, difficulty, supply, hashrate

A full node returns the same figures: gettxoutsetinfo for the total and getblock <hash> 2 for any block’s coinbase. See Developers.
